With current open I/O on a factory or modified vehicle, the typical sensor package most add to the kit is: Fuel Pressure, Oil Pressure and Flex Fuel Sensor into Expansion Connector. These all being optionally sold as 100% plug and play kits as well. Wideband is preferred to use Haltech ON BOARD Wideband as it will not consume an open input, however AEM gauges and such can be used via analog input. Outputs we typically remove any hobb switches present if so and control the 2nd pump with the ECU via plug and play harness options as well.
Optional I/O Expansion is 100% Plug and Play - Will add 4 additional Analog Voltage Inputs.
Nexus R3 combines the functionality of a power distribution module, a data logger, a wideband controller and a state-of-the art engine management system in one powerful device we call a VCU (Vehicle Control Unit). The Nexus R3 features a robust environmentally sealed water-resistant case, drive-by-wire throttle control, intake and exhaust cam control, short-term and long-term map learning, dual channel knock control, and much more, this ECU provides engine calibrators with the tools they need to get the job done right.
Mounting:
Fender Mounted - This installs the ECU just below the driver's headlight. Will clear all intakes and all known major lower intercooler piping kits. HIGHLY recommended that you have all undertrays and fender liners in 100% condition to premote ECU general protection (ECU is waterproof). Extended tuning cable may be desired in this ecu location. ECU is WIFI CONTROLABLE once initially setup with the USB Cable however.
